If you can't get out of bed and into a hurry in the morning and aren't ready to leave until 3:30 PM... trail surfing gets difficult this time of year 😬🙈🤷♀️... and you have to make do with what daylight still offers 😬🤣
Starting from your front door is also quite nice 🤩

Hoping to do a longer ride tomorrow, we took it easy again today 😇
We'd re-plan kilometers 5.5 to 7.9 (Route de Nyons) next time.
Otherwise, it was a lovely loop, primarily through the vineyards of Vaison La Romaine via Saint Romain en Viennois, Piégon, Mirabelle aux Baronnies, and Villedieu 🤩

For almost 10 years, we always stopped at the Carré Gourmand in Gigondas during our Dentelles de Montmirail tour, until the owner announced seven years ago that he was selling the restaurant.
The contact has lasted 🤩, and when Jean-Luc invites you to dinner, it's an accolade you can't refuse 🥰

Apart from two busy country roads (due to our hasty planning), there are very nice little roads through picturesque countryside, and Nyons is definitely a pretty little

That wouldn't have happened to us before, that it's too cold for cycling 🥶 🤣🙈, but sometimes you have to break with old habits or traditions 😬😇
And look 👉 walking around EringerFeld 🥾 is quite nice too 🤩
