Isenachweiher, Höningen, Bismarckturm 😎😎
Um den Menschenmassen am Haardtrand zu entgehen wollten wir ein wenig weiter „in den Westen“ … 🤠 Hat gut funktioniert, wir haben kaum jemanden getroffen, nur am Isenachweiher war es (wie erwartet) voll. Sehr schöne Runde mit coolen Trails 😎😎

Tidying up, packing, cleaning, and while the dishwasher's doing its job, a quick run from home 🙂 I took the Mühlbach Trail to the tree swing and then headed home past the unfortunately snow-free mini ski slope in Faistenoy.

Skating Tannheimer Tal 🙂
Waren zwar nur zwei kleine „Runden“ präpariert, die 10cm Neuschnee waren für uns Anfänger aber perfekt 🤩 Schön weich und griffig 🙃

The fog started rolling in at the top, but the predicted snow didn't arrive until we reached the parking lot 🙂.

From Nesselwang, we hiked up the Kappeler Höhenweg (Kappel High Trail) and through the Höllschlucht (crampons are definitely recommended 😅) to the Kappeler Alp.

After the weather app predicted "couch weather," it took some convincing to get my husband off the couch and into the woods 😂
And lo and behold… it didn't rain at all, it wasn't cold at all, and it was actually quite lovely

Snowshoeing up to the Ostlerhütte 😋
and back down via the Ostler forest road 🙂
Snowshoes weren't strictly necessary today, but we had them with us and therefore used them (uphill) 🙃
A sled would have been better; the Ostler forest road is an official sledding track and, apart from a few snow-free patches

…maybe crazy, but I've wanted to do that for ages 🙃
I loved my BigFoot skis so much 🥰 …back in the early 90s 😂
