Father's Day walk in the Tote Täler nature reserve near Balgstätt. A varied walk. From a simple field path to small paths through the thicket, an orchid path and a reserve for wild horses. Two points should be considered if the walk is to be repeated 1:1: the "parking lot" itself is more like a field

With the best sunshine and plenty of warmth, we headed out into nature again. It was quite bumpy at first, as we found ourselves on a small BMX track, which turned out to be a dead end. Then we went a little along the Saale, over Rothenstein and Maua. Only a few meters in altitude and mostly flat paths

A relatively easy hike with a few minor hiccups 😉...if you keep an eye out for the shade-free sections, you can make some truly remarkable discoveries, which makes the hike even more interesting. At the end of the hike, you can replenish your burned calories with some delicious ice cream at one of the gelaterias.
