I actually wanted to go to the forest, but as I was leaving, it started to snow lightly 🌨️
So I took a short walk along the Rhine instead.
It was a good thing I did, because I needed to use the restroom near the law faculty building, and the university has clean toilets 🤩
Despite the slightly foggy weather, it was very nice.

The ascent is easy, the descent very steep.
The path from Remagen to Bad Bodendorf is very beautiful. After that, there's a lot of asphalt, but the views are always worth it.
The coffee house in Linz is highly recommended.
Only the train is acting up as usual.
From Linz to Bonn in 2.5 hours 😇

Today I had bad luck: after 3.5 km, I got a nasty flat tire, with a real bang.

What a city!
Hooray, we still have a little time before the plane leaves.
So we quickly head to the Pest side.
Check out Metro Line 1 (the oldest line in continental Europe, built in 1896). It's just below street level.
Ride to Heroes' Square, have a picnic in the City Park, get ripped off at the pretzel

What a day!
I was finally back in Budapest. For the third time in my life, the first time when I was five, the second time when I was 24, and the third time this year.😇

Cross-country skiing along the Thames is lovely.
My hotel is nice and not as expensive as you'd think.
I chose it because there's a bus to Heathrow, I wanted to walk along the Thames, and it has a swimming pool.
Unfortunately, it was packed with kids.
But we'll see, I'm hoping for tomorrow morning.

From Rochester to my hotel near Heathrow, I had to drive through London (of course).
I walked from Victoria to Vauxhall, did a bit of time-seeking, and said goodbye to my hiking companions.
London is crowded and exhausting.

Today we slept in because Rochester Cathedral didn't open until 10:00.
When we got there, they tried to turn us away, saying only ticket holders were allowed until 11:00.
With some "kind" persuasion, we were finally allowed in, even though it would have been awkward as pilgrims.

Today was our beach day!
Yesterday, we asked a man in the park where the most beautiful beach was. He recommended Whitstable.
So we took the train there today. It's only a 45-minute journey. From the station to the harbor, it's not far to walk, and you're in paradise. The man was right: there are pubs

Our last day of hiking!
Our idea was to walk along the River Medway to Rochester.
So we drove from our accommodation to Aylesford to start our tour there.
Today it was still warm, but overcast. There were even a few drops of rain in the late afternoon.
We definitely would have gotten a pilgrim stamp today

Finally, Strasbourg again!
Of course, I didn't record the entire evening stroll and dinner at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant from the beginning, but that's okay. You can see where everything is from the pictures. I've recommended Pho Kim Saigon several times before. The quality has improved so much
