Especially in autumn, a fantastic color image forms at sunset.
Then the yellow grass shines along with the glow of the mountains.
Definitely take flashlights with you for the way back, because the descent is slippery in a few places.

We went here on a windy, cold morning.
A detour to the terrace of the Rifugio Croda da Lago is particularly worthwhile when fewer people are out and about.
