A very beautiful and varied route. The trail first leads through the gorge (€7 entrance fee) and later on wider paths through the forest, before climbing along the mountain on narrower paths to the summit. Once at the top, you can enjoy the incredibly beautiful view from benches or at the "Kneipenspitz

This time we took the easy way out and climbed the Untersberg with the Untersberg cable car. The Untersberg is a high alpine mountain range covering approximately 70 km².
