Der Wettergott war uns heute auf unserer letzten Etappe gnädig, obwohl die Prognosen nicht gut waren. Dafür hatten wir einen Reifendefekt, den wir nicht reparieren konnten. Das französische Ventil war defekt und ich hatte nur einen Ersatzschlauch mit Autoventil dabei, der nicht durch die Felgenbohrung passte. Der anfängliche Schleichplatten konnte…

First leg of our journey to the North Sea completed. Despite the bleak weather forecast, we stayed relatively dry. Only a long, rain-induced break at the "Mutter Vogel" motorcycle meeting point!

Unfortunately, my phone is finally broken. I also accidentally deleted the tour from my friend @Moddin73 while editing it.....
So I had to take the planned tour, and the photos were placed as best as possible afterwards. This stage really had highlights to offer: on the one hand, there were repeated views

My cell phone just stopped working today (the display froze and hasn't been revived yet), so I'm commenting from here.
After starting in Flechtdorf, we went higher and higher until we finally landed in a snowy landscape. After a lot of ups and downs, we reached today's destination, the foot of the Dommel.

It's important to make good use of one remaining day of vacation from 2024. So we drove to Diemelsee and set off on the Diemelsteig. I have to say, it was strenuous, but peppered with great, wide views from St. Muffert over Diemelsee and from several other points over the surrounding area.
