2025 war ein sche*ß Jahr für meine kleine Familie!
Wenigstens kann ich beim Radfahren Emotionen loswerden.
Standard-Tour an der Nidda entlang mit der alten Möhre hat mir allerdings heute gereicht. Ich bin mal wieder unfit 😋.
Wetter super, Beine schlapp aber zufrieden.

My son made it into the Hesse team for the Ländercup!
Luckily, the train connection between Frankfurt and Bonn is so bad that it warrants a short bike ride. Combined with a train to Cologne, of course.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have made it 😄.

Today I set off without a heart rate monitor and just pedaled.
I overtook an e-biker on the Nidda and he stayed behind me for about 30 minutes and thanked me afterwards for the slipstream 😋🤣.
I was totally exhausted because I was doing between 32 and 40 km/h for half an hour. Damn! 🙃 Either the turbo was on or he was fit too.

Enjoyed the whole day at the lake on day 2.
The exception was of course changing the tube. I am soooo frustrated. Expensive and super sensitive. The rear tire wobbled the whole way there.
Anyway, we rented a stand-up paddle and had fun in the water. Fries, beer, sweets and sun. What more could you want

TPU tubes are crap! We wanted to leave at 2 p.m. but I struggled with the tubes for two hours. They were far too sensitive when assembling them.
No matter. The plan was roughly to head towards the Main from Bad Homburg and along the Main to Karlstein in Bavaria. Of course we were too late for the ferry
