Detailed information can be found in the book "Die fortress Tyborön" (Bollerup Boghanels Verlag). I bought my copy in Denmark several years ago.

To prevent an Allied invasion, the German Wehrmacht built the Atlantic Wall during the occupation of Denmark. One section of the Atlantic Wall, the "Thyborøn Fortress," originally comprised 66 large and 40 small bunkers along the coast. Danish workers built the bunkers under German supervision in 1943 and 1944 with the aim of protecting the entrance to the Limfjord from enemy ships.
Near the harbor entrance, an R636 type observation bunker can be found.
