Camí de Cavalls is one of the most spectacular long-distance hiking/running/ mountainbike paths with stunning views and very lonely passages.
There is also a running event called this way, taking place in May (annually).

Since this is a rather rocky trail, put your trail shoes on, alternatively hiking boots....and take lots of water and sunscreen. There are quite some rather long passages between villages. Especially in low season, most hotels and supermarkets along the way are closed, so careful preparation is a must!

Anyhow, this is one of the most amazing trails! Have lots of fun!

Old supply route for horses which usually runs along the coast around the island. The path has about 180 km and can be quite experienced.

I'm running it right now and I'm absolutely thrilled! The spectacular views and the wonderful, often lonely nature are a highlight for everyone who likes hiking and loves nature. Good shoes and enough water and provisions, possibly a sun hat and sunscreen are recommended. There is hardly any shade along the way, little to no options for refreshments and the path is often strenuous. Good fitness, especially if you want to run longer distances, is a prerequisite.
