Vandring
The 15th-century palace served as the residence of the princes of Transylvania, who ruled the region from here for 150 years. It was rebuilt and expanded in the 16th and 17th centuries. After the conquest of Transylvania by the Habsburg Empire, the palace was converted into barracks. Restorers are researching and preserving the history of the building, whose foundations still contain stone blocks from the Roman fort.
