🕳️🧑‍🔧 Čumil is a bronze figure peering out of a manhole cover in Bratislava's Old Town, sporting a mischievous grin. The name "Čumil" means something like "gawker" or "observer" in Slovak. The statue was created in 1997 by artist Viktor Hulík and has been a popular photo subject for tourists ever since.

Gaffer is one of the most interesting sights and became a symbol of the city. He spends his days with the curious observation of his surroundings. It is said that those who did not visit this statue did not see the city at all.
