Vandring
It is the only one of the three access gates in the first ring of fortifications that has survived, dating back to the 13th century, and the oldest structure preserved in Sibiu. Its actual form dates back to 1542. The tower is a single-story, solid brick structure with an arched entrance. A staircase connects the "Upper Town" with the beautiful "Lower Town" in the direction of Turnului Street.
