Born on September 17, 1921 in Granada, he was the author of works such as the Virgin of Our Lady of the Snows - for which he was awarded the National Sculpture Prize in 1954 - and the Venus of Marbella, as well as a monument dedicated to José Antonio Primo de Rivera in Granada, which was replaced by another dedicated to childhood, also the work of López Burgos, among others.
