Fajãzinha, located on the island of Flores, is a location rich in natural landscapes, including Ribeira Grande and its majestic waterfalls. The parish church, the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, is an architectural highlight of the region. The parish has a strong agricultural tradition, mainly in cattle farming, and maintains an active associative culture, with emphasis on the Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Philharmonic Society.
