Colorful, round, playful: the Lehel market hall looks like a child of the 80s, but the design dates back to 1995 and was created by the architect, interior designer and visual designer László Rajk, who was colloquially known as Kofahajó. The hall was opened in 2000.
The market hall is lively inside, practically not visited by tourists and therefore without tourist prices, and is highly recommended.

The design, however, dates back to 1995 and was created by the architect, interior designer and visual designer László Rajk; the hall was opened in 2000 on the site where there was previously an open-air market. Lively inside, practically not visited by tourists and therefore without tourist prices, the market hall is highly recommended.
