Vandring
To experience the history of the Hoge and Lage Fronten, you could take a tour of the Frontenpark. You can then take a tour above ground or via a system of corridors (the casemates), which runs from the Hoge Fronten towards the Minister Goeman Borgesiusplantsoen on the Tongerseweg, where you will gain information and insight into the history of this area in which there are still wet fortifications, remains of an industrial past, embedded in a recently redesigned park, can be admired.

Vandring
A piece of Maastricht history. You can walk above ground or around these casemates. You can also look inside the corridors. At the beginning there is a sign with useful explanations. Outside the buildings you will find a lot of nature, many plants including arum lilies. But lizards also live here.
