Krugsreuth/Kopaniny Castle was built in 1612 for Bartholomäus von Zedtwitz and expanded in 1677-1678. The founding of the town itself dates back to the 12th century.
After the Zedtwitzers were expropriated in 1945, the facility was looted, ruined and left to decay.
Since 2013, the palace complex from the 17th century has been gradually restored. The upper floor is already accessible again and covered.
The building is currently not accessible.
