The mural in Puerto Naos, Arrecife pays homage to the women and their work in the canneries.

The plaque next to it provides an explanation in Spanish and English. The German translation reads:
May this mural serve as a reminder of all those who worked in the fishing industry, especially the women who were indispensable contributors to the development of Arrecife and yet have remained invisible in the city's history.
It was designed by Santiago Alemán, an artist whose work has always honored his native Lanzarote and whose teaching at the Pancho Lasso Art School has left a lasting mark.
The artist Juan Muñoz painted this piece of street art.
