Traditionally, El Prado had been a meeting, recreation and strolling place for the city, but its design and construction were carried out in 1864. It has also been the subject of reforms and restorations. The decoration with Talavera ceramics and the use of brick shows the cultural influence that the Arab and Mudejar legacy left in the city. The fountain of the Frogs (Ruiz de Luna), the music bandstand and the niches of its side walk (old popular libraries) stand out.

Do not miss going to have a drink at the restaurant inspired by the Greek mythology of the sculptor Pygmalion, who fell in love with one of his creations: Galatea. Great terrace and in an incredible setting in the Jardines del Prado.
