There are two ancient streets on the site. The street running in an east-west direction is called Decumana. It was lined with porticoes and crosses the smaller street.
The smaller street is called Via Cardo (literally axis) and probably led to the port. On both sides of the street you can see stone slabs that show traces of vehicles from that time.
