Fourth of five stages of the Forststeig from the Rotsteinhütte to the Quirl bivouac, which I unfortunately had to shorten for health reasons. So it will be worth coming back either way.
After climbing the steel staircase, which is several meters high, you have a great view from the Katzsteinfels. Continue

The second slightly modified stage of the Forststeig from the Taubenteich to the Zehrborn bivouac, in order to shorten the 38km route.

Fifth and final stage of the Forststeig, from the Quirl bivouac to Bad Schandau train station.
I unfortunately had to shorten this stage too for health reasons. So I skipped the Quirl and headed straight towards Kohlweg, where the markings and the temporary diversion recommendation on the internet left
