Vandring
The Oberkotzau station is a service point on the Bamberg–Hof railway line and the lines branching off here to Weiden and Cheb in the municipality of Oberkotzau. At the beginning of the 20th century, a large marshalling yard was built at the northern end of the station in the direction of Hof. The historic entrance building, which is not used for railway operations today, is a cultural monument. It was acquired in 2020 by the association IG Bahnhof Oberkotzau.

the train station is right on the Saale cycle path... on the other side you have the start of hiking on the Jean Paul path and the circular hiking trail Ritterrain
