Vandring

The walk along the promenade is worth it if you want to catch a great view of the monastery.

Vandring

Unlike in the rest of the city, there is a tree-lined promenade directly on the eastern shore of Lake Malchow, which also served as an access route to supply the monastery. From here you have great views of the old town island.

Vandring

In the area of today's bulwark below the monastery church, the community of Kloster on the eastern shore of Lake Malchow has always had the opportunity to land goods and freight or load them onto boats.
In 2007, plans were drawn up to renew the shore fortification
as a bulwark, and it was completed in December 2009.
