Vandring

The Plaza del Porgualete is, after successive reforms, a large open space equipped with gardens, the usual venue for festive events and craft fairs. Its walk runs alongside the Cathedral and surrounds the old Collegiate Church of Santa María (only its ruins remain), founded by Count Ansúrez, and where such outstanding events as the wedding of Alfonso X el Sabio and Violante de Aragón took place.
