The Church of Santa María de la Antigua, known among the people of Valladolid as 'La Antigua', boasts of being one of the Romanesque jewels of Castilla y León thanks to its slender tower over 55 meters high. It is the only element from the 13th century, together with the north portico, since the rest of the temple is in the Gothic style, already from the 14th century.

Old chapel of the Palace of Count Ansúrez, although nothing remains of the 11th century construction. The Romanesque remains that are preserved are the tower and the north cloister which date from the 13th century. The other main part of the temple was replaced by a gothic construction from the 14th century.
