Heimbach is a place directly on the Rur and only a few meters from the Rursee. The place impresses with its historic city center. Small cafes, restaurants and shops complete the whole thing. Also worth mentioning is the castle, which you should definitely visit. The castle itself is worth a visit, but the view from the castle of the Rur and the surrounding countryside is simply beautiful.
