Mill 'Nieuw Leven' is a semi-open standard mill from 1801, which belonged to the Vilain XIIII family. In 1920 the mill became the property of the Eisden mine and later the mill was bought by the municipality of Maasmechelen. It was listed as a monument in 1945 and is one of the oldest types of windmill. In 1995 the mill was thoroughly restored. Miller Albert Van Hees keeps the mill running.

every first & third Sunday of the month from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and on request.
