The ancient "Kattholzeichen" stands there mighty, gnarled and somehow defiant on the side of the road and you can hardly shut your mouth, the sight of the old English oak is so impressive. Their age is estimated to be up to 450 years and their trunk circumference is a whopping 12.80 m at a height of 1 m! You should linger a moment to visualize what or who this tree has seen coming and going in recent centuries ... Or you just hug it and rejoice that it is still there!
