Eine Woche Urlaub im Norden Texels. Im Eierland! 😂 Eigentlich sieht hier alles "normal" aus. 🤔 Und auf der kleinen Runde haben wir schon 40 Vogelarten gesehen.

🇩🇪 Füße vertreten vor dem Abendessen
Nach einer kurzen Rast im Hotelzimmer noch eine kleine Runde im Ort gedreht. Und morgen bei feinstem Schmuddelwetter gehen wir schön in die Sauna Koppke in Greetsiel! 🤩

Today it was cool and windy, but dry, and we had a great walk around Greetsiel. The usual bird suspects were there, and we were especially pleased to see the barnacle geese.
It was a shame the Pilsum Lighthouse was under scaffolding, but it's getting a new coat of red and yellow paint.

A long weekend in Greetsiel at the Hotel Hohes Haus. Beautifully renovated with lots of wood and exposed beams inside, and tastefully furnished rooms.
The fishing harbor with its traditional boats is very interesting. There are many details to discover. The small old town is also worth seeing, as are

Glaubt bitte nicht alles, was angezeigt wird, denn diese „Laufleistung“ wurde nicht komplett von mir erbracht. Per pedes waren es nur 16,69km und ich hatte auch gar nicht vor, diese Tour zu posten. Doch dieses kalte aber sonnige Wetter hatte einige Motive, welche ich aufgenommen und eingefügt habe.

Four years ago, on September 17, 2021, we stopped at the Linumer Teiche ponds after a vacation to enjoy the crane migration that was already beginning!!! 😍👂🏻👁️👁️👂🏻
On the way to the rear observation tower today, we saw an osprey perched, and what was really cool: We heard at least two stags bellowing

After breakfast, we cycled to the old market hall and bought fresh tuna steaks for dinner, along with some more fruit and vegetables.
