Vandring

The Wölmsteich is a fishing lake on the German-Czech border, near Sebnitz, in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. The lake is just over one hectare in size. The east bank is overgrown with trees and shrubs, while a beautiful meadow grows on the west bank. The Wölmsteich is primarily home to carp, tench and white fish, but trout, eels and pike also live here.

Around the pond there are rest benches and at one point there is also a hut with a rest area. There is also a water weir to regulate the inflow.
