If you go from Elvas in the direction of Brixen, you should definitely make a short stopover at the so-called cross plate. This rock, smoothed by glaciers, is covered in places with enigmatic bowls. Popularly this plate is often referred to as a "witch's slide" and according to tradition, the rock was a fertility slide: women whose desire to have children did not come true, should have slipped down here to help their luck a little on the jumps.
