The Dielenhaus "Spiegelberg 48a" was used as a granary until the 1980s.
The oldest pieces of wood date from the second half of the 16th century. The basement already had a water connection in earlier times. The surviving gable inscription "1664" proves that the building was rebuilt during the Swedish period. Even older are the almost completely preserved medieval fire walls, which formed the common partition wall to the neighboring buildings. The weathervane crowning the gable was reconstructed using the badly damaged original found in the building.

In terms of urban development, the building "Spiegelberg 48a" is of great importance, as it is one of the few remaining plank houses on the street, which are located near the Water Gate and the Old Harbor and are therefore very authentic for the traditional historical cityscape.
