Vandring
The Wallensteingraben is a wild stream (although partially created) that meanders picturesquely through the forests. A wonderful natural landscape!

Vandring
The Wallensteingraben is a connecting ditch between Lake Schwerin and the Baltic Sea in Wismar. Its approximately 20-kilometer-long course overcomes a height difference of 37.8 meters. The watercourse so named today consists of the artificially created outflow of Lake Schwerin and the largely original course of the stream once called Stivine (or Steffine or Stevina, depending on the source). A canal built in the 16th century, which shortened the course of the stream over large sections, fell into disrepair just a few years after its construction.
