The Protestant Church of St. Johannis in Kühlungsborn (formerly Brunshaupten) is located on the Schlossstrasse leading south (towards Kröpelin and Autobahn 20), which is partly lined with old trees.
It looks back on 800 years of history. In the Baroque period, the nave was equipped with paintings in the windows, five altar figures, a baptismal angel, the pulpit and the first organ.
