Vandring

The Kesseltse Kip is located between Kesselt and Veldwezelt. And the word Kip comes from the ground 'kippen'. That ground came from the construction of the Albert Canal, which created a hill and that is why it is called the Kesseltse Kip.

On the hill, along one of the walking paths that are there, you will find a smaller hill with a staircase, a so-called terp with a whopper of a stone. And there is also an orientation circle above where you know what you are seeing with all those beautiful views.

There were more of these types of stones around the plateau with viewpoints in a radius of 360º. Such as Maastricht, Sint Pietersberg, Lafelt, Riemst, Gellik, Mopertingen etc.
