Gyeongbokgung Palace, located north of Gwanghwamun Square, is one of the most famous attractions in Korea. The palace was built in 1395 and is commonly referred to as the North Palace, the name means "blissful bliss".

The changing of the guard takes place at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 between the Gwanghwamun Gate and the Heungnyemun Gate.

This palace in the middle of the city is a wonderful place to immerse yourself in history. You should also look at the changing of the guard. The palace also offers some great motifs for photos.

Beautiful area. Entrance 3,000KRW or less than 3€. Allow 2 hours. Exit to the right of the site to visit the typical districts. Do not hesitate to get lost in the many temples.
