This curious art installation called ‘The Viewcatcher Wheel’ frames the view of a group of Munros north of Loch Cluanie far in the distance. The wheel is situated on a high route part of the Great Glen Way above Loch Ness that opened in 2014.

Tor Cairns are actually tombs and cultic places that existed in England. Through a Tor Cairn - the belief - you could get into another world.
This wooden structure is based on this gate Cairns on the plateau and should (as the description on a board) highlight the special look you have there.
Depending on the weather and light, the place may well get a mystical touch.

A gate Cairn is a prehistoric place of worship in the British Isles, especially in Cornwall and Devon, but also in Wales. It consists of a circular border of stones or a platform of loose stones that surround a natural rock and is sometimes surrounded by a ditch. The diameter of the approximately 35 cairns ranges from 12 to over 30 meters and their height varies from 0.5 to 4.0 meters. As a rule, there is an entrance to the enclosed area and pits in the ground between the ledge itself and the enclosure
