    Invermoriston’s Thomas Telford bridge makes a spectacular crossing over the River Moriston falls. Nestled amidst a breathtakingly-beautiful landscape, the bridge is a much-loved spot and is a great place to watch salmon leaping upstream. Built in 1813, the bridge was part of the main road between Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus until a new bridge was built to replace it in the 1930s.

    The old bridge on the raging river is a real highlight!
    Also to the small summer house, a little river downhill is worth it. From there you can see the old and the new bridge in succession.
