Vandring

To preserve their father's memory for a long time, the brothers Carl, Jean, and Georg Weisheit had this statue transported from the 1906 Bavarian State Exhibition in Nuremberg to Hof and donated it to the city in exchange for the Theresienstein. Thus, to this day, everyone who passes by is reminded of the Royal Bavarian Railway Master Heinrich Weisheit.

Vandring

Ash tree circles are considered places of power in Nordic mythology. Since 2005, Theresienstein Park has also had such a circle, consisting of five ash trees and four granite pillars. In place of a fifth pillar, there is an old trigonometric survey point dating back to 1899.

Vandring

The Wisdom Temple is a pavilion donated to the population of the city of Hof (Upper Franconia) in 1907. It is architecturally based on Greek antiquity and is located in the Hofer Stadtpark Theresienstein, east of Gumpertsreuther Weg in the so-called Weißmath-Anlage. The pavilion does not owe its name to wisdom in the spiritual sense, but to its donors, the brothers Carl, Jean (Hans) and Georg Wisdom.
