The "Iron Pole" is a sawed-off power pole that was replaced by a new one further back. Nevertheless, the power line has now been shut down and the cables no longer lead anywhere. The foundation of the old mast was converted into a viewing platform.

This is also the entrance to the Breva (Via Ferrata) Wine Trail.

Well, under the Iron mast, I had not imagined a power masts, but the view is great and here is the descent on the Breva wine & trail path to Valwig possible, which is a small challenge and untrained Waderer better not should aim for and instead the Moselsteig direction Cochem can wander. Have fun with all professional hikers among you on the Breva-Steig
