Here in the public park on Linz's Freinberg there has been a stupa since 2013, an ancient archetypal symbol for the fully realized or "awakened" spirit, completed by the Friends of Diamond Way Buddhism Linz.

Vandring
Place of power, place of happiness, viewpoint – the Linz Stupa has many names. This Buddhist structure is located in a public park on Linz's Freinberg hill and was completed in 2013. It symbolizes peace, freedom, and harmony for all living beings. Circling it three times clockwise is said to bring particular good fortune. The stupa is also a very special place to pause for reflection or to enjoy the breathtaking view stretching all the way to the Alps.
