The beautiful Magdalenenkapelle is located in the tip of the music island. Just try whether it is open. The path to the chapel under the trees with the many benches invites you to linger and relax.

Mountainbiking

The Church of St. Magdalena is located on the monastery island on the eastern corner. The single-nave building is completed by a round choir and has late Gothic windows with tracery. On the ridge of the nave there is a roof turret, which has been equipped with a half-timbered body and open bell house since the renovation in 1903. The weather vane above the tower cross bears the coats of arms of the abbot and monastery Rheinau: Greif and Salm.
