Lighthouse located on the island of Gran Canaria in the neighborhood of Sardina del Norte, in the municipality of Gáldar. Its function is to mark out the northwest coasts of the island for maritime navigation, in the strip of coastline that covers the entire northern area up to the La Isleta lighthouse, to the east, and the tip of La Aldea, located to the southwest.
