In the midst of Hong Kong's bustling financial district on Hollywood Road lies an oasis of silence, the Man Mo Temple. This Taoist temple was built during the British colonial period, mid-19th century. He is one of the oldest and most famous in Hong Kong.
Inside the temple, the air is filled with the scent and smoke of the impressive incense spirals. The smoke should carry the prayers to the gods.

It is very lively here. The temple is very well attended (at least on Sundays) and the believers light a lot of incense sticks.
