Vandring
The highlight is twice in here but too beautiful not to be rated as a highlight. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right paths on the lake. From the Piora mountain station of the Ritombahn you can walk to Lake Tom in around one and a half hours. A great, around three-hour circular hike brings hikers from Piora via Ritomsee and Cadagnosee to Tomsee and back (3-lake hike Piora).

Vandring
The Lago di Tom is a mountain lake in the Val Piora. It lies at 2020 meters above sea level. The Tomsee is around 300m long and 250m wide and is located a little above the somewhat larger reservoir Lago Ritom. If you look at the white sandy beach and the clear blue water of the lake, you almost think you're in the Caribbean. There is also swimming in the mountain lake, but not at temperatures like today on June 30th. around 10 degrees.

Quiet little lake with alp in Val Piora. Nice view over the whole high valley from the slope above.
