The Siebendörfer Moor is wonderful to explore on your own bike. Most of the paths are paved and also quite wide. You can also go on a bike tour through the moor as a group.
In spring, with a bit of luck, you can hear the bittern's courtship call (Botaurus stellaris). The dull courtship call sounds a bit like a cow, which is why this inconspicuous bird is also known as the “bog ox” or “moss cow”.
