Glühweinwanderung 2025 – Himmelpfort Edition 🎅
Lange war‘s geplant – rund ein Jahr – die Sonderedition der Glühweinwanderung im beschaulichen Himmelpfort. Ganze 26 wander- und heißgetränkfreudige Menschen treffen sich am dritten Adventssamstag schon im RegionalExpress nach Fürstenberg. Von dort geht’s im warmen Grau des Winters entlang von Kiefernwald und Seeufern. Immer mal wieder wird innegehalten, um den mitgebrachten Glühwein und Punsch zum Vorglühen zu genießen. Drei Stunden später flanieren wir über den niedlichen kleinen Himmelpforter Weihnachtsmarkt. Die Langos-Preise haben es in sich, aber der Eierpunsch lässt einen darüber hinwegsehen. Der Weihnachtsmann muss ein Gruppenfoto mit ausgeflippten Erwachsenen über sich ergehen lassen, aber trägt es mit Fassung. Der Rückweg führt durchs Dunkel, vorbei an einem schnuckeligen Geocache und zügigen Schrittes, um dann doch noch eine Zug früher zu erwischen. Geschafft! Und wo geht’s dann nächstes Jahr hin? Direkt zum Nordpol? 🦌

OHV: Glühwein, Weihachtsmann, Champignongs und Geschichte
Wenn der Dezember anklopft, antwortet Himmelpfort mit Glöckchenläuten, Tannenduft und etwas, das man mit ein wenig Fantasie Weihnachtszauber nennen kann. Selbst künstliche Schneeflocken schweben durch die Luft, bleiben kleinen und großen Kindern in den Haaren hängen – es fehlt eigentlich nur noch, dass sie leise „Ho ho ho“ wispern. Das kleine Dorf in Brandenburg verwandelt sich in dieser Zeit in eine Art offizielles Außenbüro des Weihnachtsmanns, natürlich mit Briefkasten. Hier landen Wunschzettel aus aller Welt. Zuvor jedoch führt der Weg an der Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück vorbei, dem ehemaligen größten Frauenkonzentrationslager Deutschlands, und an den verlassenen Häusern der einstigen GSSD-Kaserne. Seit Anfang der 1990er Jahre stehen diese Gebäude leer und verfallen. Gedenkstätte und Kaserne liegen in einer schweren, beinahe drückenden Stille – ein kaum zu übersehender Kontrast, der lange nachwirkt.
