From the Wachstein you can see the whole Truppach valley. Because of this phenomenal view, the Wachstein is a popular hiking destination. It is also part of the network of hiking trails around the Neubürg, which can also be admired from a distance.
The Wachstein offers a wonderful view: to the east of Mengersdorf (in front of 2 ponds), Truppach on the left and Obernsee behind it, also a view of Neubürg.
