Cykling

The Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Johannis in Schwerin is the only medieval building in the state capital. It is also the only real cathedral in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

The 117.5 meter high west tower, which was built in the neo-Gothic style, is also the tallest church tower in East Germany. The church tower can be climbed with its 220 steps. Here the visitor has a breathtaking view over Schwerin and the Schwerin lake landscape.

Vandring

One of the largest and one of the most beautiful brick Gothic buildings. The tower, which is 117.5 meters high, can be climbed over 220 steps and offers a beautiful panoramic view. The 50 centimeters make it the tallest tower in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It was completed in 1893, much later than the cathedral nave. The beginnings of church building go back to 1154.
